What:Weekly “Virtual” AV Gathering - Anyone can join by picking up your phone or using

heart-centered time with your neighbors. No charge.

Details: Each live phone/video conference call will include:
- Short, guided meditation & centering or a short group somatic practice.
- Time for each person to share briefly and listen from our hearts. Get grounded, drop into
experience, move grief, find inner strength, feel connected to community.

When: Tuesdays 7:30- 8:45 pm.  (If you can’t stay past 8 pm, let us know, but we have found that having a few extra minutes creates spaciousness).

How: Use a smart phone, computer, or regular land-line phone to click a link or dial the phone #
we will send you so that you can join live - by audio or video (your choice). To receive the
phone # or link: You must respond that you are interested by 2 pm Tuesday by email (Laurie@riversbendretreat.org or abeja@emeraldearth.orgor message Laurie Adams or Abeja Hummel on

Facebook. Each week we will share the link/phone # to join the call.
If you are not familiar with Zoom technology/ have questions, please also message or email
Laurie Adams or Abeja HummelTuesday before 4 pm.

Who’s Facilitating:Laurie Adams and Abeja Hummel will host with support from local Yoga and
Wellness teachers Kira Brennan, Mary Pafford, and Aurelia Sunrising.
What this is Not: Time to vent frustrations, cast blame, share news or try to solve problems that
there are other venues for.
We will base this offering on The Work that Reconnects (Joanna Macy), Somatic
Experiencing, and The Way of council (Jack Zimmerman and Gigi Coyle).
Who are Laurie and Abeja?

Laurie Adams is a trained practitioner of The Work that Reconnects,The Way of Council,
Soulcraft, and the steward of River’s Bend Retreat Center.

Abeja Hummel is a trained practitioner of The Work that Reconnects, Gokhale method, 8
Shields Nature Connection and a steward of Emerald Earth.

Is this a business offering? No. We are simply members of the Anderson Valley caring about
our community. We know the importance of supporting our nervous systems and minds to relax,
to connect to our hearts, breath, nature and to each other in times of crisis. Join us!
